So sad!

Camryn was vomiting in the night which means she cannot go to school which means that she cannot wear her costume which means that she cannot show her friends, can't attend the fun class party and can't do the pumpkin contest! I am so sad for her.

Play group Halloween party!

So, today we had our play group's Halloween party at my house. It was supposed to be at Andrea's home but her little guy was ill so I said we could go ahead and have it my house since I live just down the street and it all worked out. Thanks to everyone who brought food for our lunch and a big thanks to Andrea for the candy and craft! We missed you guys!
The whole gang in my front yard. As you can see we have a light issue again! Remember Blake and his squinty eyes???

Eloise

Have you ever read the Eloise Books? That little girl cracks me up! Camryn and I are reading Eloise in Paris. We've already read Eloise at The Plaza. Mike got this awesome deal on a bunch of hard back and paper back Eloise books. So, we are living vicariously through Eloise and Nanny as they experience the city of lights. Camryn wants to go there with me someday and we will wear "those black skinny hat things." Hmmm a beret? She is a girl after my own heart I tell ya. I keep telling her (and Mike so he can start saving....lol)that maybe we can go for her 16th birthday and when she is fluent in French! Or I guess we could just go anyway, millions of people do and they don't speak a word of it!

Voi La it's done!

OK, so here is the tassel for Cam! Not too shabby I think. Got it done while watching 45 minutes of Jon and Kate plus 8. I love that show, Mike hates it!!!! Maybe I'll get a pic of this actually in Camryn's room instead of on the dining room china hutch.

A tassel for Camryn

I've made one so far and it turned out really cute, it is hanging on the knob of the tv armior in the family room. It has an adorable bird and nest on the top. I'll try to post a picture later. Wish me luck on the one for Cami!

A Halloween Preview

We had Pack meeting last night and the kids all dressed up in their costumes and went Pumpkin Caroling! What a fun night. We visited a few "Shut Ins" and brought them sugar free treats. They really enjoyed it as well.
After you get over the shock of this one........the kids looked great too! Whoa Sancho! Aye Aye Aye!!!

My stupid finger is in the way of the flash! I guess that's what happens when you're in a rush. This is Gavin, I think he is Commander Rex? I can't keep 'em all straight!

This is Jeffrey....yes Star Wars again! Don't even ask what this one is called!

Arrrrgh! I be Captain Jack Sparrow!

And the lovely Elizabeth Swan. There's that darn finger in the way again!!!

Good job Spencer kids!

Yesterday was our Primary Program at church and the kids did a great job saying their parts and singing all the songs in front of the whole church! I don't think I took that smile off my face the whole time. Darn it I didn't take any pictures before we left!!! I have to get better about that. The theme was "I am a child of God."

A pouty face

We were outside watching Cami ride her bike and I grabbed my little guy and told Mike to quick snap a picture of us. You knoe he didn't smile in any of the shots he took?? Litttle stinker.

Guess who decided to learn how to ride a bike!

Even if it is her brother's. Cami finally decided it was time to learn how to ride a bike and with no prompting from her parents! She did it in about 5 seconds!!! Her Daddy was there all the time. He would hold the back end and then let go and she just kept going and going!

Fall came and threw up in the front yard

You can't even see the rest of the pumpkins on the porch behind Blake! I would have taken more photos but as you can see the sun was quite high and little man can't even see! I'll post more later. Hmmmm, wonder what happened to that scare crow? Could have sworn I had one in the garage!

Blake .........is a Smurf!

Do you remember The Smurfs? He got a hold of the markers and colored himself not the paper.

Vote for Jeff for

Treasurer!
Yes, Jeffrey who is such an introvert decided all on his own that he wanted to run for student council at school. Mike and I and my Mom were all shocked. He has been doing everything on his own. Well, Dad did help with the spray paint for his posters. He even wrote his own speech! He is so independent. It mus be a first born thing??? I think there are like 10 other kids running for treasurer too. I'll keep you all posted!

I've been tagged!

Which means you get tagged! (Thanks Cindy) No really, this is a fun one. You find your 4th picture in the 4th folder and post it!

Our fascination with character band aids. Camryn is about 2 here. Wow our house has changed so much in the past 4 years. It is fun to look back though! That is Jeffrey's leg.
Maybe one day I'll go back and post some old photos for fun.

I tag: Lara, Kim, Kym, Michelle, Angela, Lonni, Talia and anyone else I missed!

Jammy Day

The day started out like this.....all dressed and ready to go out! We ran some errands and while we were out it was a bit chilly! Blake said he was cold and I was a bit chilled too so, we went home and changed into our comfy jammies, got our blankets out and grabbed some snacks.
Now....in our Jammies we are enjoying alone time together. No Dad no big brothers and sister!

A day at preschool with Blake

Story teller lady picked Blake to be the dog in the story but little man changed his mind when he got up there. Turned out he wasn't feeling well.

How cute is this rope line? They all did a really great job holding on!

Here is the little man and his dudes saying the pledge of allegiance.

The other day I was asked by the preschool teacher if I would be able to stay and help out today with 20 3 year olds as we would be visiting the library and have story time. I said "sure, would love to !" It was a fun day....then Blake wasn't feeling well and I held him for story time. He did get picked at the end to go up and help Miss Storyteller lady by holding a dog. He was not him self, didn't smile didn't want to participate. So, I had to go up and stand in line with all these little kids and make doggie barks and such. At least the parents got a laugh.

The photo wall is done!

The photo above doesn't have the vinyl lettering on the wall at that point. I didn't know what I was going to put there.....then I remembered that I had a few phrases in vinyl that I hadn't ever used! Then I found "Love One Another." A well known LDS hymn. I thought it was fitting for a family photo wall that gets walked by umpteen times a day!

Ok...they look a little crooked, I guess I need to get some sticky stuff to help keep them in place. After all only 6 people walk by here several times a day!

It finally happened!

I was in the dressing room and it happened!.....What you ask???? Oh, I just got into a smaller size jean that all!!!!!! Big deal for me! I even did my own little happy dance too....is that so lame?

What the kids are learning.....

So at church we have a yearly program that the Primary (Sunday school for kids 11 and under) kids put on for all the families i.e. moms and dads and older siblings and all those who don't have young kids anymore and those who don't have kids at all. They have been learning the song Iam a Child of God in sign language! I am so proud of them. They have been practicing and practicing. Jeffrey only has one more year in Primary b4 he graduates and will be a Deacon! I feel so old!

Another photo wall

Here is what I was thinking about doing on the wall going up the staircase.....but, I have no idea how to get up there to hang these guys........I am scared to death of a ladder on the stairs! I do have a rather large wall in the hallway upstairs that is nekked! Maybe it would like to wear them. I have a few more to add and then maybe some initials?

My front door

Ok....here is the wreath that I mentioned in a previous post a couple of weeks ago. It is the first wreath that I have ever made. It's ok for a first timer.

Ok- the front door needs to be cleaned!
